Hubal (هبل) was a god worshipped in pagan Arabia, notably at Mecca before the arrival of Islam.
Hubal was honoured at the Ka'aba in Mecca.
There is an ancient statue of a woman with the nowadays sign of Islam (the moon) on her breast.
