[edit] My Testimony of Leaving Islam

Why I left Islam? I questioned the core concept: Why did Almighty bless me by letting me be born in a Muslim family? Many Muslims still believe and they'll tell you quite frankly that only Muslims will end up in heaven as they are the only followers of one true God, His last prophet p.b.u.h and the holy Koran. I wondered as to why gracious God preferred me over non-Muslims and what had I done that was so great even before I came into being that won me a spot in His good books! Upon researching, especially conversing with many naive Christians, it dawned on me that not only Muslims, but Christians as well, blindly believe that they are true followers and that God showed mercy on them by selecting the only true religion for them and their family members? So I thought what's so wrong about it? If they both believe that their religion is the only true religion, then automatically the other becomes untrue - for Muslims don't accept Jesus the Christ as Son of God while Christians won't even move a yard without accepting Jesus as their messiah - the Son of God. I am not sure if I am eligible to state whether Islam or Christianity or any other religion is evil for that matter, however I am sure that our world is very unsafe in the presence of evangelists and jihadis who will trounce us with them in their "tug of conversion war."
