Do Muslims Hero Worship Muhammad, Allah's Partner?
From Bukhari we read that Muhammad needed to be loved. 
Sahih Bukhari Vol. 1, Book 2, No. 14: Narrated Anas: The Prophet said "None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind." (source)
Definition of Hero Worship -- love unquestioningly 
and uncritically or to excess; venerate as an idol (source)
