Farsideology: Melophobia
From WikiIslam
The Law of Islam concerning Music
40.27. Things one should not listen to
It is not lawful for you to deliberately listen to all of a falsehood nor to take pleasure in listening to the words of a woman who is not lawful for you nor to listen to musicians and singers. source -- The Risala of 'Abdullah ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani (A Treatise on Maliki Fiqh – one of the four schools of Islamic Jurisprudence )
Commentary to 40.27 by al-Azhari
It is not lawful for you enjoy the speech of a woman with whom you cannot have intercourse,
and so it would be permitted to enjoy the words of a wife or slavegirl. It is not permitted to enjoy the voice of a beardless youth. It is not lawful to listen to things like lutes and singing. (source)
Farside’s Commentary: It is obvious from the hadiths that Muhammad had a pathological hatred of music. In medical terms, his hatred of music would have been classified as a severe case of Melophobia.
The Cure: A good phobia clinic would have cured Muhammad in 24-hours and would have guaranteed the treatment. (source)
Do you really think that Muhammad could have been cured of Melophobia?
