God is a deity in theist and deist religions and other belief systems, representing either the sole deity in monotheism, or a principal deity in polytheism.
God is most often conceived of as the supernatural creator and overseer of the Universe.

Allah is the name of the God that Muslims use and believe in. If a certain person invents a religion and claims that he's messenger of God, then he may or may not be talking about the actual God that exists. For this reason, Allah is not the God of the Universe. All religions for these reasons refer to their own Gods only.
