Here it is in context:
When the sun is covered, And when the stars darken,
And when the mountains are made to pass away,
And when the camels are left untended,
Reading the whole Surah, its obvious that the subject is what's going to happen on the “Day of Judgment”. The quote in question has nothing to do with roads or dynamite. Kathir's tafsir regarding this 'prophecy' makes that quite clear.

This is not prophetic in the way that the author is implying since this passage refers to the Islamic version of "Judgment Day" and not technological advance.
