Talk:Qur'an, Bible and Creation

From WikiIslam

Jump to: navigation, search

Hello ...... you are following an abusal use of the Wording from John.

The sense is that the Universe was made BECAUSE of him ..... in this sense you should try to understand it.

There are several passages in the Gospels which give clear indication that JESUS did not made the Universe ....e.g. there is one very famous as Jesus makes a loud joyful remark that the Father did made it impossible for former knowledgegreedy priests and people as they were to understand the cause of the Universe ....e.g. why it was made. Another pointing is that Jesus clearly said that He himself could do nothing in means of healing people..... While Jesus` fellows where asleep Jesus went out to pray ...... for sure to the Holy God. There are many indications more....

Therefore it is clearly a misinterpretation of John`s Wording to think that Jesus could be the same person as the Holy God.

And I wonder why so many did not take the right choice which ís so easily: Just read the Biblical texts to get an perspective which makes you strong not to fall into a hole which was made by wrong word translation or meaning abuse.

PS.: ....I wish also especially Apple Pie, Sami and Whale motivation to reach out for this perspective.

Archangel, you have evaded a block which I placed on you for repeatedly vandalizing the article. As for your other arguments, you can resolve this with other editors as I'm not an expert on Christianity. Dont edit as you did before or you'll be blocked again.--Whale 16:55, 11 January 2007 (CST)

This article should be deleted. The author misquotes and edits the Quran in order to back his/her own argument. I will correctly quote the verses mentioned in order to give you an idea of how ridiculous this article is.

The first verse mentioned was 6:101:

ARTICLE: Originator (of) the heavens and the earth, that He has certainly been his Son, and not to be certainly his companion, and He created every thing that He will, and He on account of every thing that he will who knows

QURAN: To Him is due the primal origin, Of the heavens and of the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things

The next verse was 2:117:

ARTICLE: And they said: " “allah” he has taken a Son, glory be to Him, much more certainly His, that which (is) in the heavens and the earth, all are certainly obedient unto Him.

QURAN: They say: "Allah hath begotten a son": Glory be to Him - Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: everything renders worship to Him

Then verse 2:117:

ARTICLE: Originator (of) the heavens and the earth and when commanded entirely by (the) Word, so only certainly Him, He says: "Be thou." so (it) is

QURAN: To Him is due the primal origin, of the heavens and the earth, when He decreeth a matter, He saith to it: "Be," and it is.

Then verse 39:4:

ARTICLE: Although “allah” he intended that he takes a son; he has not chosen from that which he creates, (but) what he wills, glory be to him, he (is) “allah”, the one, the supreme.

QURAN: Had Allah wished to take to Himself a son, He would have chosen whom He pleased out of those whom He doth create: but Glory be to Him!(He is above such things.) He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible

Then verse 39:5:

ARTICLE: He created the heavens and the earth, on account of The Truth…

QURAN: He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions)...

I hope that's sufficient to have this article removed. The Quran states again and again that God does not have children, and Jesus is not his son:

He begetteth not, Nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him 112:3-4

Pisceschica, welcome here. That is interesting, now that I see real quotations. I've thought about these issues before but I never bothered to see the verses side by side. I see now the quoted verses and the ones actually being in the Quran are different. I'll have to leave this to Applepie. Applepie, what do you think about this? Maybe we need an "Opposing Viewpoints" section in this article and perhaps others. A balanced view would be nice. --Whale 21:25, 19 January 2007 (CST)

This article seems totally wrong. Should be removed. --TurnLooseTheSwans 13:57, 6 April 2007 (CET)

[edit] Lets change the title

I'm thinking of changing the title of this article from "Jesus Created the Universe" to "Bible, Quran and Creation". Otherwise it misleads people to think that its a Christian website when its not. Any suggestions? --Whale talk contribs 17:53, 5 June 2007 (PDT)

I renamed this article to a more nuetral: Qur'an, Bible and Creation. --Whale talk contribs 17:42, 7 June 2007 (PDT)
