Why terrorism is allowed in Islam

I have been made victorious with terror
Muslims who says this are basically saying, Prophet Muhammad is not muslim. If the defintion of Terrorism to you is somone who tries to scare people for political purposes, then Prophet Muhammad practiced Terrorism. If it is somone who kills non-combatants, then yes, he also practiced Terrorism in this sense. Main reasons why terrorism is allowed in Islam:
[edit] Justification in the Qur'an[edit] Whoever kills a muslim has killed all of makindThe verse in the Quran which says killing 1 person is like killing all of mankind is misinterpreted. On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief/corruption in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. 5:32 According to the Tafsir (Quran commentary), the meaning of this verse is the below. By the way, a tafsir is a book which explains the meaning of the Quran. Early Islamic figures such as Sa'id ibn Jubayr (who lived at the time of Prophet Muhammad, and is the companion of Ayesha), and commentator of the Quran has said: He who allows himself to shed the blood of a Muslim, is like he who allows shedding the blood of all people. He who forbids shedding the blood of one Muslim, is like he who forbids shedding the blood of all people.[1]
Tafsir It is also reported that another one of the commentators of the Quran, Mujahid ibn Jabar (student of Ibn Abbas) said while commenting on the verse: He who kills a believing soul intentionally, Allah makes the Fire of Hell his abode, He will become angry with him, and curse him, and has prepared a tremendous punishment for him, equal to if he had killed all people, his punishment will still be the same So basically the life of a non-muslim is worthless, since non muslims are not included. Critics of Islam have said "when a muslim is killed, the entire humanity is killed". But "when a infidel is killed it has no relevance". Muhammad also gave the verdict (fatwa), according to Ali, that a muslim can not be killed for killing a non-muslim, mentioned in Sahih Bukhari 1:3:111 and Sahih Bukhari 9:83:50
[edit] Terrorism in GeneralSheikh Osama bin Laden O prophet! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh against them. Their abode is hell, and an evil destination it is.
O you who believe! Take not the Jews and Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guides not a people unjust.
And fight them until there’s no fitnah (polytheism) and religion is wholly for Allah.
Certain scholars such as Dr. Zakir Naik (born October 18, 1965) have said all Muslims should be terrorist in the context of war and fighting (what is in the Islamic view) evils of society, but rejected terrorism which attacks and kills innocent civilians since he argues the verse below only applies in war. When he was asked about the following verse. "Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies".
He replied: "Every Muslim should be a terrorist. A terrorist is a person who causes terror. The moment a robber sees a policeman he is terrified. A policeman is a terrorist for the robber . A Muslim should be a terrorist for the Robber and all other anti-social elements."[5][6]
[edit] Justification in the Hadith[edit] Civilian TargetsTerrorists use Muhammad's numerous caravan raids of Meccans that passed by Medina as justification for attacking civilian targets as well as military. Muhammad (the Uswa Hasana) organized 64 such raids from 622 CE to 630 CE, of which he personally led 27. [edit] Killing CiviliansPalestinians celebrate the deaths of 2,919 civilians in the 9/11 Islamic terror attacks on America and hand out free sweets When Muhammad made a peace deal with Banu Nadir and Banu Qurayza and other Jewish tribes, the three leaders of the Jewish tribes were accused by him of breaking the peace treaty. Although he claimed only the three leaders of the tribes broke the peace treaty, Muhammad punished the entire Banu Nadir tribe. The Banu Qurayza, also broke their commitments and Muhammad ordered the beheading of all the Jewish men and boys (who had begun to grow pubic hair).[7] Combatants and non-combatants alike were slaughtered and the remaining women and young children were taken captive by the Muslims and sold in slave markets.[8] This incident took place in the Battle of the Trench. Terrorist use this as justification to attack American civilians.[9][10][11][11][12][12][13][14]. In an Interview with Press TV Omar Bakri reffered to Banu Qurayza to justify terrorism against all american civillians, because Muhammad killed all the male members of tribe who had reached puberty just because of what the leaders did.[15] [edit] Justification for Killing JewsThere are endless examples of anti-Semitism within Islamic scriptures. However, Hamas, an Islamic Resistance movement is Palestine, has justified the killing of Jewish Civilians using the hadith below, which they have also included in their Charter,[16] Many other clerics and scholars[17] have also referred to this verse to justify the killing of Jews: Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
[edit] Killing ChildrenAs has already been shown, Muhammad's (therefore Islam's) definition of a child differs from a non-Muslims. In Islam a boy who has started puberty is considered an adult. However, for this section we will accept the Islamic understanding. Although Muhammad somewhat disapproved of the killing of woman and 'children', he made a clear exception for non-Muslim woman and children. When he was at war, one of his companions came to him and said they had found children and woman among the dead when they were using catapults. "The Prophet passed by me at a place called Al-Abwa or Waddan, and was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, "They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans)."
Muhammad said "they are of them" more than 3 times when children were killed. It is narrated by Sa'b b. Jaththama that he said (to the Holy Prophet)" Messenger of Allah, we kill the children of the polytheists during the night raids". He said: "They are from them".
Muslim terrorist use this as a justification for carrying out terrorist attacks even if it puts woman and children in danger are even if they get killed. Muslim cleric Omar Bakri, in an Interview with Press TV used this to justify why killing non combatants is alright because the "Prophet Muhammad killed 600+ non combatants of the Banu Qurayza".[18].[19] [edit] Killing anyone who insults Muhammad (Blasmephy)Background
The idea that the woman is pregnant is ambiguous, and is held by some critics of Islam.[20]
"if anyone insults me,they should be put to death, and they will not be charged[20] This is the view of a former Muslim, Ali Sina.
According to Muslim scholars such as Sheikh Saifur Rahman al Mubarakpuri, after Muhammad's return to Medina, Ali, Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law, at Muhammad's order, then beheaded Al Nadir, instead of asking for possible ransom money. Al Nadir was one of two prisoners who were executed and not allowed to be ransomed by their clans because he mocked and harassed Muhammad and wrote poems and stories criticising him and allied with the Meccans.Uqba bin Abu Muayt shared the same fate.[24].[23] For more information on people who were killed for insulting, Muhammad, see Qur'an, Hadith and Scholars:Muhammad the Mass Murderer [edit] Justification for Killing HomosexualsMany terrorist, as do Islamic Scholars, justify the killing of homosexuals using the hadith. Terrorist acts have been committed against homosexuals on a regular basis in countries like Iraq where currently there are death squads operating.[25][26] They justify their acts based on the teachings and actions of Muhammad, who said: Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done[27]
Muhammad’s first successor Abu Bakr (the father of Aisha) had a homosexual burned at the stake. The fourth caliph, Muhammad’s son-in-law Ali, ordered a sodomite thrown from the minaret of a mosque. Others he ordered to be stoned. One of the earliest and most authoritative commentators on the Koran, Ibn ‘Abbas (died 687) blended both approaches into a two-step execution in which “the sodomite should be thrown from the highest building in the town and then stoned.” Later it was decided that if no building were tall enough, the he could be shoved off a cliff.[28] Regardless of the exact method, many jurist argue over the way the punishment should be carried out.[28] [edit] Killing Apostates (people who leave Islam)According to Islam, people who leave Islam must face the death penalty. In 1992 Muslim militants gunned down Farag Foda, an Egyptian secularist. They claim they did so because the prophet ordered the death of apostates. Before his death, Farag Foda was declared an apostate and foe of Islam. An Al-Azhar University scholar, Mohammed al-Ghazali, a witness before the court, declared it was not wrong to kill a foe of Islam. Al-Ghazali said: The killing of Farag Foda was in fact the implementation of the punishment against an apostate which the imam (the Islamic leader) has failed to implement (undertake).[29]
This was due to the sayings of Muhammad, who said: "'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"
One of his followers refused to sit down and talk until a Jewish man who left Islam was killed. Only after he was killed did he continue. [30] [edit] Hating for Sake of AllahMuhammad is noted to have said: The best of the actions is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah.
Many Muslims have used this as a Justification to hate what they consider Kufr. [edit] The Best DeedAllah's Apostle was asked, "What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and His Apostle (Muhammad). The questioner then asked, "What is the next (in goodness)? He replied, "To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah's Cause."
